We are so excited to welcome you to the Hillmen Family! New to Placer High School & our District? Enrollment at Placer is an online process; there are no paper packets to fill out. Follow steps 1-3 below to enroll. If you are returning to Placer High School or require an in-person appointment, please email kmccaughna@puhsd.k12.ca.us.  

Enrollment Steps

  • Submit the 6 REQUIRED documents for enrollment

    Documents may be attached to your online enrollment form or emailed to kmccaughna@puhsd.k12.ca.us

    • Residence Verification Form (Spanish/Español Version) Please print, sign & return

    • TWO documents for address verification
      For example: copy of current PG&E, water, garbage, rental/mortgage agreement or government correspondence

    • Birth Certificate, Passport, Birth Record, or Baptism Certificate

    • Immunization Record

    • Copy of Unofficial High School Transcripts and/or Most Recent Report Card

     

    Submit Additional Documents if Applicable

    • Any court documentation indicating custody arrangements, restraining orders, no contact, limited contact with non-custodial parent, etc. 

    • Copy of current IEP or 504 Plan 

    • If your student goes by a different name/gender than their legal name/gender, email Mrs. Ward Dixon at jwarddixon@puhsd.k12.ca.us with both their legal and preferred name and gender.

    Please note: It is the parent's responsibility to withdraw the student from the previous school.
    Placer will request your records and official transcript after enrollment is complete.

     
  • Complete Course Selection Sheet 

    Classes will ultimately be scheduled by the student’s counselor based on credit needs and available space. See below for our course selection by grade level. Please print, circle choices, and email back to kmccaughna@puhsd.k12.ca.us

     

    * Your elective preference choices will not be entered until STEP 1 and STEP 2 above have been completed.

     

    Grade Level Course Selection Sheets:

    • Class of 2026 (Seniors) - Class 2026 for our Senior Course Selection Sheet

    • Class of 2027 (Juniors) - Class 2027 for our Junior Course Selection Sheet

    • Class of 2028 (Sophomores) - Class 2028 for our Sophomore Course Selection Sheet

    • Class of 2029 (Freshmen) - Class2029 for our Freshmen Course Selection Sheet

  • Inter-Intra District Transfers

  • Go to School Locator and enter your home address to learn which school’s attendance area you live in.

  • Question 1, I want to attend Placer HS : I Want to Attend Placer High but…We Don’t Live in Placer High School’s Attendance Area
    Answer 1, You need to complete transfer request You will need to complete an Intra-District Transfer Request. You MUST turn in your application between January 6th - January 31st.  NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Visit the PUHSD Website and scroll down to Enrolling → “Open Enrollment within PUHSD” for the Transfer Application.
    Question 2, I want to attend but I live outside area

    I Want to Attend Placer High but…

    …We Don’t Live in the Placer Union High School District

    Answer 2, You will need inter district transfer You will need to apply for an Inter-District Transfer. To begin the interdistrict request process, you must first complete an Inter-District Transfer Request Form form your current district of residence.
